Windows Firewall is a built-in, host-based, stateful firewall that is included in Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP with Service Pack 2 and later.
The firewall in Windows Server 2008 is activated by default and there is no rule that allow the inbound connection to the server on port 1352 required for NRPC communication.
